Today, Sheriff Luna honored 21 deputies from Avalon, Century, East Los Angeles, South Los Angeles, Marina Del Rey, and Compton Stations, who performed lifesaving actions in course of their duties.🏅 Some of the heroic acts honored today included deputies saving people from near-drownings, applying tourniquets after traffic collisions, transporting gunshot victims to hospitals in patrol vehicles, and rendering aid to infants not breathing.
