Studies have found that 44% of carers and 30% of people with dementia experience loneliness. Our Companion Call service provides people living with dementia a regular telephone call, helping to reduce loneliness and social isolation. Annmarie is a Companion Call Volunteer and dedicates her spare time to speaking with a person living with dementia every week.
