Swimming Beach at Colter Bay is an excellent option for swimming, paddleboarding, and relaxing. The beach is a rock beach - which is great as you won’t be fighting the sand. Do know that the rocks on the beach get hot in the direct sun, so have chairs, blankets, and protective shoes. These people in the video have the right idea! Our NP campground in Grand Teton didn’t have showers! 😮 I expected dry camping in the national park campsites, but I was surprised when the bathrooms only had toilets and sinks. For 324 campsites in Colter Bay, the shower facility is located in a separate location at the visitor center and they charge $5.
