American mink are among the most secretive, anti-social, and nocturnal animals that roam MPG Ranch; consequently, good trail cam footage of them in daylight hours is uncommon. A very cute American Mink out hunting for its mate on Malcolm Island. American Mink (Neovison vison), a mammal that is found on Vancouver Island. The American Mink is a common sight on the shores of the Pacific Northwest coast, including Vancouver Island. It is mostly seen around water and is an incredible swimmer. Minks are small, slim, and sleek. Their coats are a glossy, dark brown, often with a white patch on the throat. Males weigh under 2 kg, while females are about half that weight. The m
