Your Firefighters performed an aggressive interior attack and were able to confine the fire toward the back of the structure. One cat was rescued. Firefighters successfully rescued two dogs and one cat from the building. The quick actions of Engine 2 personnel and AMR medics helped revive one of the dogs that was initially unresponsive. Sadly, despite lifesaving efforts, a second dog succumbed to injuries sustained in the fire. @hemetgov | Chief Miller

FAIRVIEW FIRE: A wildfire in Hemet that killed two people and injured another has burned at least 2,400 acres, and thousands of homes remain under evacuation orders.
