Don’t worry, it looked like this baby humpback whale just ate someone… but it’s all about the camera angle! Humpback whales couldn’t actually swallow a human even if they tried. Their throats are only about the size of a grapefruit. These gentle giants are filter feeders, opening wide to scoop up fish & krill, then pushing the water back out through their baleen plates.
