At the Kiseveloka Evangelic Lutheran Mission in Eastern Highlands Province, people gathered for a sing sing — a celebration where tradition and change met face to face. Men stood proudly in full bilas, their bodies painted with care, feathers rising above their heads like crowns. Women wore bright grass skirts and woven decorations, moving in rhythm with the beat of kundu drums.
