Currently, I have 3 green cheek conures. Several people have asked how I tell them apart. The truth is, they look very different. My conure, Mika, is a normal green cheek. This means he has the coloring of his wild green cheek cousins and is a natural color. Eddie and Lee, our rescues, have color mutations that cause their coloring to be different than a normal conure. Eddie has a turquoise mutation, and Lee has an opaline turquoise mutation. These mutations are made by breeding conures with oth
