ANTICYCLONE: AgroClimate Advisory –For East Africa Outlook For: Mid-October (10-20th Oct, 2025) A strong Subtropical High-Pressure System (Anticyclone) is projected to dominate the Southwest Indian Ocean by mid-October. The system is to come with about 2-3°c below normal sea surface temperatures, and a high pressure of about 1036Hpa. 🔹 Expected Impacts The system will discharge cooler, drier air westward into East Africa. This discharge will be shape and redirected directly towards East Africa
