ASEAN works closely with external partners to enhance collaboration and strengthen community resilience. ASEAN has signed several Memorandum of Understanding with partners, including other international organisations, on emerging issues across three ASEAN Community pillars. In 2022, ASEAN signed MoU with IFRC on disaster management, World Anti-Doping Agency on doping prevention in sports, and OECD on comprehensive cooperation.
