The Miami Dolphins could really use a cornerback, but they won't be adding team legend Xavien Howard. Instead, Howard is signing with the Indianapolis Colts, who the Dolphins face Week 1 of this NFL regular season.

The Indianapolis Colts signed former Miami Dolphins All-Pro cornerback Xavien Howard, agent David Canter announced Monday. Howard last played in 2023.

The 32-year-old cornerback was cut by the Miami Dolphins in February 2024 and did not play last year after suffering multiple injuries leading up to his release.
