Vito beat out nearly 2,000 other dogs, representing more than 200 breeds, to become the first pug to win the National Dog Show.

Vito the pug has been crowned best in show at the 92nd annual National Dog Show – the first time a pug has won the title in at least two decades.

On Thanksgiving Day, Vito, a “proud and confident” pug from Chapel Hill, took home the title of best in show at the annual National Dog Show Presented by Purina hosted in Oaks, Pennsylvania.
