SpaceX said Friday it will make another launch attempt next week of the massive Starship rocket—key to CEO Elon Musk's long-term vision of colonizing Mars—after two consecutive in-flight explosions earlier this year.

SpaceX's gargantuan Starship rocket is due to once again get off the ground from Texas more than two months since its last launch.

Federal regulators gave SpaceX the green light for another test flight of Starship, the most powerful launch vehicle ever constructed, after mishaps earlier this year rained debris near populated islands.
