An argument on a Chicago street led to a 34-year-old man being shot in the chest and hospitalized in critical condition.

The man, 34, approached a group of people, and an argument ensued about 4 p.m. Wednesday in the 2400 block of North Clark Street, police said. He was shot in his chest and hospitalized in critical condition.
