After 1,038 days the Triad’s snow drought has come to an end with 0.4″ of snow measured at PTI airport. Temperatures remain cold this evening with many in the 20s after 8 PM. Overnight, temperatures fall into the 10s with clear skies making it a frigid start to Wednesday morning.

Cold temperatures will continue to chill the Piedmont. Snow fell down across the Triad overnight into the early hours of Tuesday morning leaving visible snow in the grass and on cars throughout the region and creating icy road conditions.
