Las Vegas residents frantically reported to 911 dispatchers they heard voices from within the flames of a deadly home fire and pleaded for Clark County Fire crews to hurry—they didn’t know if their home was next.

Las Vegas (KSNV) — A house fire resulted in the death of one person late Wednesday night. The incident occurred just after 11 p.m. at a home located at the 200 block of Catalina Street in Las Vegas. Upon arrival, crews forced entry and began searching the residence when they found a male and female victim.

Just before 4:10 a.m., crews were called to a fire at 8332 Langhorne Creek Street, nearWest Windmill Lane and South Jones Boulevard.
