COLUMBUS, Ohio — Head coach Ryan Day named Julian Sayin as the starting quarterback for the Ohio State Buckeyes on Monday. Over the course of fall camp, Sayin has shown better arm strength and ultimately earned Day's trust to lead an Ohio State team looking to repeat as national champions.

Julian Sayin will be Ohio State's starting quarterback when the No. 3 Buckeyes open the season against top-ranked Texas on Aug. 30, Coach Ryan Day announced Monday.
