COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho — Authorities identified the firefighters involved in a deadly sniper ambush Sunday afternoon in northern Idaho.

Firefighters killed by suspect with ‘Nazi tendencies’ in Idaho ambush are named - Longtime firefighters John Morrison, 52, and Frank Harwood, 42 were killed while Dave Tysdal, 47, remains “fighting for his life” after being shot.

The sniper suspect was identified as 20-year-old Wess Roley after an hourslong manhunt ended in the discovery of his body.
