FEMA will assess flood damage in Milwaukee County after record rains left thousands of homes destroyed and over 34 million in damages.

As people across southeast Wisconsin face a challenging rebuild from historic downpours and flooding from August 8-10, a nonprofit is providing some assistance. According to a release, Airbnb’s nonprofit,
"The damage throughout the area is overwhelming," Mayor Cavalier Johnson said after visiting home with David Crowley and Tammy Baldwin.
