John E. Crawley, the TikTok content creator known as "KingBeardX," whose tight-angle shots and over-the-top humor earned him 2.5 million followers, died this week in Mississippi, friends and neighbors

The internet comedian died from cardiac arrest on Aug. 18, Glenfield Funeral Home Director Paul Lazenby confirmed to PEOPLE. He was 47. Crawley was known by his following of over 3.5 million for his fluffy beard and comedic reactions to people eating food, which he posted to his TikTok and Instagram accounts.
