Tropical Storm Warnings were issued for parts of the Florida Keys on Tuesday morning as Tropical Storm Rafael continues to get better organized and remains on track to become a hurricane later on Tuesday.

It's currently part of a large low-pressure system but is expected to consolidate into an organized tropical depression and eventually Tropical Storm Rafael over the next few days.

Hurricane Rafael will pass over Cuba today and reach the southeastern Gulf of Mexico tonight. There is some chance that it will simply dissipate over the Gulf due to the hostile atmospheric conditions.
