Amtrak overhead wire problems on the Northeast Corridor that started Monday morning are continuing to plague rail commuters ride home.

Commuters were moving again Monday after a major disruption on Amtrak and NJ Transit. Service between New York City and Philadelphia was fully restored by the late afternoon, with only minor delays. Amtrak cited overhead wire damage for the initial suspension earlier in the morning.

NJ Transit rail passengers heading into or out of Penn Station New York faced delays of up to an hour Monday morning. Following an earlier suspension, Northeast Corridor and North Jersey Coast Line rail service have resumed with limited service.
