Nine Israelis were injured, including one critically, on Friday after rockets launched from Lebanon struck the town of Karmiel in Israel’s Upper Galilee, Israeli media reported. Channel 13 reported that sirens sounded across Karmiel and nearby areas in northern Israel before the rockets impact, which injured multiple residents.

The Israel Defence Forces (IDF) said on Saturday, that it had killed Jaafar Khader Faour, a commander of Hezbollah's Nasser Brigade rocket unit in southern Lebanon. It added that he had been responsible for multiple attacks on Israel since October 2023.
