Big Lots had 1,389 stores before the mass closing announcements started. Prior to the September bankruptcy filing, the company had intended to close around 300 stores, but that list has grown by about 50 stores a week in the weeks since.

Bankrupt discount retailer Big Lots Inc. is closing its store in Jacksonville Beach as it shuts down hundreds of locations across the U.S. The store is at 14333 Beach Blvd., No. 18, in the Pablo Station shopping center. According to the Big Lots website, the store is open daily 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. for its closing sale.

Last month in bankruptcy filings, Big Lots said it would close almost 50 more stores, bringing its total planned store closures to more than 340.
