About two hours after a man was shot and injured at a Huntington Beach closet business on Monday, police shot and killed the woman suspected of pulling the trigger during a traffic stop in South Gate.

A woman armed with a handgun was killed in a police shooting Monday morning in the southern Los Angeles County community of South Gate. The woman was in a car that LA Sheriff’s Department sources told NBC4 Investigates was the same car at the scene of a shooting earlier Monday in the Orange County community of Huntington Beach.

The Baldwin Park woman who allegedly shot at employees of a California Closets Monday before being killed by police during a South Gate traffic stop was an employee of the Huntington Beach store.
