A man has been charged after he shot and killed three people at a homeless encampment in Minneapolis in October.

Earl Bennett was charged with three counts of second-degree murder for the Oct. 27 shooting, according to a criminal complaint filed in Hennepin County on Monday.

A shooting at a Minneapolis homeless encampment is now a triple homicide, after a third person has died from her injuries, according to the medical examiner’s office. The suspect was shot and injured by St. Paul police officers last Monday. He remained hospitalized as of last week.
