A woman was brutally attacked, slashed and then shoved onto a subway track by a hulking assailant at a Harlem station, police said Wednesday.

The NYPD says a woman was waiting for a downtown A train when she got into an argument with an unknown man and was slashed in the face.

A woman was shoved onto the subway tracks at a station in Harlem, according to the NYPD. The incident happened around 10:50 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 5, at the W 125 St and St Nicholas Avenue station, police say.
