Nile Rodgers has revealed he will perform at Glastonbury 2025 immediately following Sir Rod Stewart. The Chic star and mastermind behind some of the most legendary pop albums shared the news with press at the Rolling Stone UK Awards at London’s Camden Roundhouse, where he was honoured with the Global Icon award.

Rod Stewart will play the coveted “Legend” slot at the 2025 Glastonbury festival, joining an impressive roster of previous “legends” – from Paul McCartney and The Rolling Stones to James Brown and David Bowie – who performed at “tea time” on Sunday at the famed British music fest.

"After all these years, I'm proud and ready and more than able to take the stage again to pleasure and titillate my friends at Glastonbury in June," the rock star said on Tuesday.

The iconic British singer will take on the Pyramid Stage for the first time since his headline appearance in 2002.
