Update: Mountain Fire still uncontained and keeps growing in Ventura County
Mountain Fire initially started today at 8:51 a.m. in Ventura County. It has burned 14,147.8 acres after being active for 10 hours, an increase of 3,648 acres since the last update. As of Wednesday evening, the fire crew has not achieved any containment of the blaze. Investigations into its cause are still ongoing.
