The Boston Red Sox have exercised a club option to bring back a key role player that has become a fan-favorite in Boston. On Monday morning, the Red Sox announced on Twitter that they have picked up Rob Refsnyder's 2025 option to bring him back to the city he has called home for the past three seasons.
