The Miami Heat are struggling in the 2025-26 NBA season, leading to criticism of the team’s star players. Former NBA player Jeff Teague stirred up controversy with his recent comments about Heat center Bam Adebayo on the Club 520 podcast.
After struggling in the early stages of the season, Adebayo seems to be coming into form. Averaging 17 points per game so far this year (his lowest since the 2019-20 season), Adebayo has seen a scoring surge as of late. In his last three games, Adebayo is averaging 27 points and just one turnover per game.
Adebayo finished with 30 points (9-22 FG, 6-10 3Pt, 6-6 FT), 12 rebounds, four assists and one steal in 32 minutes during Saturday's 122-120 win over the Thunder.
