Pro-Palestinian activists targeted the UK offices of Germany’s Allianz in a protest, splashing red paint on buildings to express their discontent with the company's reported connections to Israeli defense firm Elbit Systems.

Pro-Palestinian activists targeted the British offices of German financial services firm Allianz on Tuesday, daubing the outside with red paint in protest over the company's links to Israeli defence firm Elbit Systems .

Palestine activists occupied and vandalised the offices of Allianz insurers overnight, throwing red paint over walls and windows in protest at the firm’s links with Israel.Surrey police said three activists had been arrested at Allianz Insurance building in Guildford.

Allianz has closed several of its offices in the UK today after it was targeted by pro-Palestine protestors alleging the insurer is involved in insuring the Israeli arms trade. Protest group Palestine Action targeted offices in cities including London, Birmingham, Manchester, Glasgow and Bristol.
