The Penn State Nittany Lions and Notre Dame Fighting Irish renew their rivalry in the Orange Bowl, making it a hot ticket of the College Football Playoff.

Defense wins championships. At least that’s what Notre Dame and Penn State are banking on this year. The two clubs — both of which have elite defenses — will put that theory to the test when they meet up in the Orange Bowl at Miami, FL’s Hard Rock Stadium on Thursday, Jan. 9.

The early ticket market is reasonable for the Orange Bowl and College Football Playoff semifinal matchup between tradition-rich programs No. 6 Penn State and No. 7 Notre Dame.
