Bobby Brink, Joel Farabee and Garnet Hathaway scored to help the Philadelphia Flyers build a three-goal lead and they held on to beat the New Jersey Devils 4-2.

The Philadelphia Flyers opened a home-and-home set against the New Jersey Devils with a 4-2 win at Wells Fargo Center on Monday evening.

The Devils finally got on the board with 1:13 to play in the period. Ersson got a piece of Dougie Hamilton’s shot but the puck hopped in the air and fell back into the net as Travis Sanheim tried to swipe the puck away with his stick.
