As the search for missing seven-month-old Emmanuel Haro​ continues in San Bernardino County, with some fingers pointing towards his parents, the family's attorney is speaking out to shoot down speculation that they stopped cooperating with detectives.

According to Riverside County records, the missing 7-month-old's father pleaded guilty to willful cruelty to a child following a 2018 arrest.

Riverside County authorities confirmed Wednesday that they removed a 2-year-old child from the Haro home after Emmanuel was reported missing, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department. The removal is another twist in an already complicated case.

Emmanuel Haro was reported missing on Thursday after someone attacked his mother outside of a Big 5 Sporting Goods store in the 34500 block of Yucaipa Boulevard, according to the family. Mother Rebecca Haro said she was changing her baby's diaper when someone punched her. When she came to, she ran into the sporting goods store and called 911.

A 7-month-old baby boy has been reported missing in San Bernardino County, and law enforcement is asking the public for help locating him. Deputies responded to a missing child report on the 34000 block of Yucaipa Boulevard shortly after 7:45 p.

Emmanuel was allegedly kidnapped Thursday night, according to his mother, Rebecca Haro, who told authorities she was attacked outside the Big 5 Sporting Goods store on the 34000 block of Yucaipa Boulevard when it was almost 8 p.m. Sunday's vigil was at the location in a shopping center.

Investigators have served several search warrants at the Haro home and utilized K9s to aid in the investigation. Additionally, a large amount of surveillance video has been obtained from areas of interest and are being reviewed.

Detectives are investigating the case as a possible kidnapping after the child's mother reported being attacked outside a retail store.
