Texas Longhorns quarterback Arch Manning has landed himself a massive prediction heading into the college football season.

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott added another piece of legislation to the special session agenda, described as political payback for the House Democrats who fled the state during the first special session.

Now that Texas lawmakers have passed new Congressional maps, Texas House Democrats will now be fined more than $9,000 each for breaking quorum for two weeks.

A new bill would fine absent state lawmakers and their donors for certain political contributions during future quorum breaks.
