American astronauts Sunita Williams and Barry Wilmore have been stuck in space for 107 days and the earliest they can return to Earth is in February. People in Williams' ancestral village in India have been praying for her safe return. BBC Gujarati's Roxy Gagdekar Chhara reports.

As Sunita Williams remains on the ISS due to technical issues with her spacecraft, her ancestral village in Gujarat prays daily for her safe return. The earliest she can return is February 2024 via SpaceX’s Crew-9 mission.

Nick Hague completed NASA astronaut training in 2015 and has spent 203 days in space. He will launch with Aleksandr Gorbunov on September 25 for a six-month mission at the ISS, joining other astronauts for scientific research and operational activities.
