Man armed with a gun arrested after standoff with SWAT at a Houston residence, sheriff's office says

A man was taken into custody after barricading himself in a north Houston residence while armed with a gun Monday morning, Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said on social media. Gonzalez said the man refused to come out of the building in the 500 block of Beaver Bend Road near the North Freeway and Gulf Bank.
