Mel Kiper Jr. officially lost it on ESPN when Shedeur Sanders was finally picked by the Browns. The biggest icon of NFL Draft coverage went on a tirade, slamming teams for being idiots when it came to evaluating quarterbacks — with Kiper being a big fan of Sanders out of Colorado.

Last weekend, during the 2025 NFL draft, we witnessed something pretty uncomfortable. Multiple analysts and pundits got tons of airtime to just rant and rave about former Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders and what they perceived to some sort of conspiracy or gross disrespect of Sanders as he slid to the fifth round.

The Cleveland Browns scored the only A+ from ESPN draft guru Mel Kiper for not a surprising reason.
