Portland and coastal areas will see mostly rain for Thanksgiving, but interior areas could see significant accumulation of snow and the could be power outages.

The storm is expected to reach its height between 4 p.m. and 10 p.m. and could bring 3 to 6 inches of snow to inland areas of the state.

Wednesday will be a quiet weather day as we will be in between storms. It'll be breezy with highs in the mid-40s under mostly sunny skies.On Thanksgiving Day, we’re anticipating the first snowfall of the season for many towns.

A Thanksgiving storm is set to bring the first plowable snow of the season to much of Maine, with messy travel expected Thursday evening and night. The storm will wrap up on Thursday night with much quieter but colder weather heading into the weekend.
