(WJW) – McDonald’s locations in Northeast Ohio are about to get sweeter! The fast-food restaurant announced that local stores will soon sell Krispy Kreme doughnuts.

Krispy Kreme is offering up free doughnuts as an Election Day pick-me-up on Tuesday, Nov. 5. As Americans cast their vote and volunteer at the polls, Krispy Kreme will be handing out its iconic original glazed doughnuts for free at participating shops across the U.

While most companies are already prepping for the winter holidays, Krispy Kreme is in the mood for gratitude. The delightful doughnut brand recently announced four new Thanksgiving doughnuts, and we’re definitely thankful for these additional flavors.

Krispy Kreme has announced the launch of four all-new doughnuts, the Thanksgiving Pies Doughnut Collection. The new doughnuts draw inspiration from classic holiday pies. This festive collection is set to be available from 7 November through to US holiday Thanksgiving.
