Google debuted a pair of new Super Bowl commercials that portray AI as a technology that’s as central to people’s lives as the phone or computer they access it on. But, like some of Google’s other Super Bowl ads, the company is once again attempting to make you pull out your tissues in between plays.

Google’s Super Bowl ad features a Wisconsin cheesemaker who uses Google’s Gemini AI tool to write cheese descriptions.

Google revealed the theme of its national Super Bowl commercial, releasing a two-minute extended version featuring a father using its Gemini Live AI assistant to prepare for a job interview. A 60-second version of the commercial,
