If Mr. House does show up in 2296 when Season 2 is set then that would seem to settle the fan debate over which ending of Fallout: New Vegas is canon. In the game, a victory for Mr. House is one where he survives the Battle of Hoover Dam, pushes out the other factions, and remains in control of Vegas.
Walton Goggins and Ella Purnell pack their bags for Las Vegas in the latest photos from the next season.
‘Fallout’ Unveils Season 2 Trailer: “The End Of The World Ain’t Over Yet”; Premiere Date Set, Photos
Set to the Ink Spots’ “It’s All Over But The Crying”, the trailer opens to a shot of a barren post-apocalyptic Las Vegas with Ella Purnell’s Lucy MacLean asking, “Why would my dad go to Las Vegas?” The Ghoul (Walton Goggins) replies, “You wanna know why the world ended? It started here… with one man.”
So, in the first teaser trailer for Fallout Season 2, we’re introduced to Mr. House, and we see him interact with Cooper Howard, the human version of Goggins’ character. It appears that this story from the past will overlap with The Ghoul and Lucy’s trip to New Vegas, and create parallel stories like we saw in Season 1.
