KL Rahul, while fielding for India in the first Test vs Australia in Perth, stopped a ball with his foot and showed some pretty decent football tricks with it, before throwing it back to the bowler. The star batter shared this video on his Instagram story,

KL Rahul has found a new home in Delhi Capitals. The star batter though has been churning out runs for the teams he represented but has not been able the franchises over the line to win trophies as a leader. The Delhi-based franchise on the other hand too does not have any trophies in its cabinet to show off.

Rahul had been acquired by the Capitals for Rs 14 crore in the IPL 2025 mega auction in Jeddah after parting ways with the Lucknow Super Giants, whom he had led for three seasons including in their debut season in 2022.

Rahul's leadership skills were also developed when he was the captain of Punjab Kings in the 2020-21 season, where he showed strategic acumen.
