Hurricane Erin is moving away, but the threat of rip currents and coastal flooding remains. Here's the latest forecast.
The NWS Newport/Morehead City NC released a coastal flood advisory at 9:24 p.m. on Friday in effect until Sunday at midnight for Ocracoke Island.
An updated coastal flood warning was issued by the National Weather Service on Friday at 4:25 a.m. in effect until Saturday at 2 a.m. for Cumberland and Cape May counties.
On Friday at 3:44 p.m. the NWS Newport/Morehead City NC released an updated coastal flood advisory in effect until Saturday at midnight for Northern Outer Banks.
A coastal flood warning was issued by the National Weather Service in Mount Holly at 5:31 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 21.
On Friday at 4:25 a.m. the National Weather Service released a coastal flood advisory in effect until 11 p.m. for Monmouth County.
