BYD is launching a new Blade EV battery next year to power its next wave of vehicles. China’s EV giant confirmed the advanced batteries will unlock even more driving range for its next-gen electric cars.

China's electric vehicle giant BYD said it will launch a new generation of blade batteries in 2025, Chinese state media CGTN reported on Saturday.

Shuang revealed that the company is planning to release the next generation of Blade batteries for EVs in 2025, as per him the new model is expected to offer an extended lifespan, alongside enhancing the driving range of the EVs.
