Two Virginia Beach police officers died in the line of duty after a shooting Friday. Many are sharing their deepest condolences for the tragic loss.

VBPD is currently investigating a shooting that investigators confirm, has taken the life of an officer and seriously injured another.

Two police officers in Virginia were fatally shot following a traffic stop Friday night, officials said. "Our city is grieving," the Virginia Beach Police Department said in a statement. "Two brave police officers who dedicated their lives to protecting this community died in the line of duty.
