Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts has ended a strange and unfortunate NFL streak after defeating the Washington Commanders in the NFC Championship.

Before he was a Super Bowl champion with the Philadelphia Eagles, Jalen Hurts battled plenty of adversity in his football career in college and the pros.

Hurts' connection to Jordan is well known. He kept a photo of Jordan in his locker during the lead-up to his last Super Bowl appearance two years ago. Hurts is also one of the NFL’s most prominent Jordan Brand athletes. But his connection to Jeter (who also was a Jordan Brand athlete when he was a player) is less well known.
