As is expected from Dragon Age, there are romance options galore in Dragon Age: The Veilguard — and the fan discussion on which non-player character to romance began months before the game even came out.

The Veilguard allows players to establish that their character is trans or non-binary. This is separate from the character creator, which is already expansive. The word "trans" is also used, whereas Dragon Age: Inquisition used an in-universe term.
