The New Jersey State Park Service has launched a new Pet Friendly Camping Program, allowing pets and their owners to enjoy camping together at designated sites within select state parks and forests.

New Jersey is home to 18 state-run parks, forests and recreation areas that are available for camping. These were the most popular in 2025.
